Then at UFC 226 he was once again pulled off from his title defense against Brian Ortega due to unexplained concussion-like symptoms. He was under UFC observation with further evaluation of health scare and recently Hawaiian update us on his condition that he’s feeling much better, ready to return to Octagon soon.

Undefeated Ortega (14-0) last fought earlier in March where he scored a stunning first-round knockout win over Frankie Edgar. That win put him into a title situation. ‘T-City’ turned down the short notice interim title fight against Jeremy Stephen at UFC 226, as Ortega only wanted to fight Holloway for the undisputed title.

UFC 231 is set to take place at the Scotiabank Arena on December 8th.
