An intriguing pair of strawweight showdown targeted for UFC 228.
According to a recent report by ESPN, UFC is working on to book a fight between Jessica Andrade and Karolina Kowalkiewicz for UFC 228 on Sept. 8.
Update on UFC 228, which has been scheduled for Sept. 8 for awhile but no announced venue … I'm hearing Dallas is the heavy front runner right now. UFC hasn't been there since May of last year.

Karolina Kowalkiewicz (12-2) is riding on a two-fight win streak and most recently coming off a decision victory over Herrig at UFC 223 in April. She Challenged Joanna Jedrzejczyk for a title in 2016 but lost the bout via unanimous decision, before that she suffered a decision loss to Claudia Gadelha.
Jessica Andrade (18-6) will look to add a third win in her resume after defeating Tecia Torres and Cláudia Gadelha. In May of 2017, She challenged Joanna Jedrzejczyk for a title fight but lost via unanimous decision. She’s 5-1 now in UFC.
The winner is definitely the front-runner to face strawweight champion Rose Namajunas, who recently defended her title against Jedrzejczyk at UFC 223.
What do you think between Andrade and Kowalkiewicz will come out victorious?
