Replay: Upset Alert. Amanda Nunes beats a bloody Miesha Tate and chokes her out

At the beginning of UFC 200 fight week, Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes were the third fight down from the main event. 24 hours before the historic UFC 200 event, the Tate-Nunes bantamweight title fight had vaulted to the main event spot of the biggest card in MMA’s 23-year history.

From the promotion who’s president once said “we will never have girls fighting in the Octagon” to two badass fighters, who happened to be female, headlining UFC 200 was the perfect finish to one of the most hectic weeks ever in MMA.

Overlooked when she faced Ronda Rousey. Looked past when she squared off with Holly Holm. For one night a 200,000 watt spotlight was centered on Miesha Tate.

Even Katy Perry made her pissed; Tate was ready to close the show.

The fight happened and Nunes just lit Tate up. After a failed takedown, Nunes controlled the fight with strikes that stumbled the champ. Tate would fall to floor where Nunes took her back and choked out the champ with ease.

And new!!! Nunes via very violent means before a choke out in round one.
