Replay: Jake Shields just subbed Lyoto Machida with a sick heel hook at charity grappling event

Still can’t believe Jake Shields is not in the UFC. When not MMA-ing in his free time it looks like Jake Shields is still absolutely schooling folks on the grappling. Shields latest victim is none other than former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida.

The Machida era of this grappling match was burned to the ground courtesy of a sneaky Shields leg lock. In the main event of MusclePharm’s Submit Cancer charity event, Shields was able to tap out the larger Machida after some nice back and forth between the two pros.

Check the replay of the finishing sequence below and always believe in Jake Shields on the grappling mats.
