Remember Gary Goodridge’s iconic KO of Paul Herrera? Now watch it played out against a soothing wood grain

The best thing about Gary Goodridge’s UFC 8 debut and run to the tournament finals was that he was awarded the ranking of 4th degree black belt in the Kuk Sool Won system of fighting after a mere two classes. That, and Gary was given a free dobak/gi for representing the school in the UFC. Don’t ever forget the free outfit, that’s the kicker. After getting sponsored, Gary took to the Octagon with the only technique he learned from the school and employed it like Wal-Mart, sending Paul Herrera to the land of unconsciousness, which looks a lot like Whimsyshire.

Back in the day, John McCain would play this clip over and over again to display the brutality of the sport, but now, WoodStainedGlass has made the classic KO a little more palatable, with fine accents of wood grain.

This is the Gary Goodridge KO of Paul Herrera you could show your mother.
