Immediately after her fight in which she punched Alexis Davis so hard she split her knuckle through her gloves, Ronda Rousey was asked by the production truck (via the arbiter Joe Rogan) if she would swoop in and save the now Jose Aldo-less UFC 176.
Her answer? What any other monster of the Octagon would say, in not so many words, “sure.”
Immediately after, Dana White yelled at Joe Rogan like he grew his hair back and decided to leave the bulging neck vein club, presumably for putting Ronda on the spot. Then, he turned to Ronda and it looks like he said, “no that’s not gonna happen, don’t worry” And now that Ronda has a cut on her knuckle, the fight likely wouldn’t have happened anyways. Unless, of course, Ronda pulled a Ken Shamrock as a negotiation tactic…
