That’s it, folks, the UFC is done for 2014. After what felt like 100 events and over 1 million fights things were capped off last night in Brazil when Lyoto Machida ran through CB Dollaway in one of the quickest wins of his career. There was no messing around for Machida last night, he was all business in the ring and wants to prove that he belongs in the top echelon of the UFC’s Middleweight division.
It all began with a left kick to the ribs on Dollaway that sent him reeling, then Machida followed up with his lightning-quick hands that laid out Dollaway in just 1:02 of the first round. This gained Machida a Performance of the Night award, the fourth of four in his Middleweight career.
