Ray Borg Withdraws From UFC Chile Due To Child Surgery

Ray Borg won’t fight Brandon Moreno at all. One more time, Borg is forced to withdraw, this time due to his infant child, Anthony, who underwent a pair of surgeries for Hydrocephalus, a brain condition. We hope that Borg’s little angel will recover soon.

Borg shared multiple posts on his social networks, updating his son’s health.

This was the third time that Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno were scheduled to fight. They should face at UFC 223 first, but Borg was removed from the bout due to Conor McGregor’s savage bus attack. UFC legend attacked the bus that was transporting his rival, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and shattered a window with a thrown dolly. Borg’s eye was hurt in the incident.

Later, Borg was claimed medically unfit to compete. The fight was rescheduled for May 19, Santiago, Chile. UFC officials will be looking for a replacement now to keep Moreno on the fight card.

Their first meeting was planned for UFC Austin in February, but unfortunately, Moreno was injured and unable to compete. We hope Ray Borg and Brandon Moreno will fight soon.
