Some women are simply warriors by nature, diehard fans with the spirit of Spartans. Others are too realistic when it comes to their goals and possibilities. Raquel Pennington was brutally finished via fifth-round technical knockout by Amanda Nunes at the UFC 224 PPV main event last night (Sat., May 12, 2018) in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Prior to the TKO defeat, in the break between fourth and fifth round, Raquel Pennington told her coaches “I’m done. I want to be done.” However, her pleas were ignored, and coaches put her back to the octagon into the fifth round. MMA community has ignited a debate that questions the responsibility of the cornerman.
