- Bryce Mitchell was silenced by Rampage Jackson’s co-host in the middle of explaining his Adolf Hitler comments
- Jackson publicly addressed the issue in a video
Rampage Jackson’s podcast co-host abruptly barged in and cut Bryce Mitchell while explaining his side of the controversial Adolf Hitler comments that saw him under-fire. The former UFC light heavyweight champion later addressed the issue.
Bryce got cut by Rampage’s co-host
Mitchell made headlines once again after he recently appeared on Jackson’s JAXXON podcast. As “Thug Nasty” began to shed some light on his situation, Rampage’s co-host named Bear Degidio stopped Mitchell and told the UFC featherweight contender that he was not being given a “platform” to express his opinions on such sensitive matters.
“Brother, you don’t know him, right? You don’t know the severity of what he did to the world,” Degidio told Mitchell. “Obviously, I could tell you don’t know for you to be able to even relaxingly say that word that he was a good guy, and I’m not even going to give him the benefit of saying his name. But those extremist ideologies, the things he did to, you know, millions of people, are some of the most disgusting, most evil things the world has ever seen.”
“Now, we’re not going to give you a platform today to talk about anything that even remotely supports that,” he pointed out. “We’re not going to give you a platform to justify what you said. Matter of fact, me and Rampage talked about this, we’re not even going to give you a platform to explain yourself on that. I personally just feel, with the things that he did and the millions of people that died, there’s no justification pre or post whatever you did say.”
“The only reason why he even accepted doing this podcast, you know, we already had pre-booked you before that show and we’ve been trying to get you on for about a year right?”

Rampage opened up
As expected, the podcast episode stirred up controversies with some criticizing Degidio. They believe it was pointless to have Mitchell on the show only to stop him from talking about the issue.
Degidio then deleted the said episode evidently to avoid further backlash. This prompted Rampage to release an 18-minute long video aimed to lift the lid on the subject.
“Bear [Degidio ] wanted me to be more serious with it, because some of you don’t understand the s** that Bryce was saying. I’m not saying that I’m against what Bryce was saying, I’m not saying I was for what he was saying, but all I was talking about you got a mother**kin’ family, and these weak a** sensitive a** motherf**kers in this world and freedom of speech is like only when motherf**fers started crying and s**. Some of you are mad at Bryce because he said some sh*t and some of you are not. I was just telling him to be careful what you say,” the former UFC champion said.
“That’s what I’ve been telling Bryce, some sh*t you believe, just teach it to your kids and don’t put it out there so you can’t get canceled and continue to make a living,” he explained.
“We did the podcast with Bryce and he told me like this is not the time to joke around with Bryce is really like keep saying sh*t and maybe f**k up his career, and Dana White cussed him out or whatever, but they didn’t kick him. This guy is a good guy, he got kids and sh*t. So, I was just telling him, be careful what you say but that ain’t me. I ain’t the type of mother**ker that be telling mother**kers what to do and sh*t. Imma be honest, I’m proud of Bear for how he runs s—. I learned a lot from that little young n****a. He’s smart, but he was just wrong on this one. He should have taken my advice,” he added.

For context, Mitchell is being criticized for suggesting that Hitler was “a good guy” prior to what he did during World War II. UFC president Dana White already lashed out at Mitchell over his comments but as it stands, “Thug Nasty” is still with the promotion.
