- Anthony Smith brutally criticized Rampage Jackson and his co-host over Bryce Mitchell’s podcast appearance
- Rampage clapped back and vows to hurt “Lionheart”
Rampage Jackson hit back at Anthony Smith for sharing his unsolicited opinion on the Bryce Mitchell controversy during his appearance on the former UFC light heavyweight champion’s podcast.
Smith blasted Rampage and his co-host
Shortly after “Thug Nasty” tried to explain himself on the Jackson’s The Jaxxxon podcast, “Lionheart” criticized Rampage and his co-host Bear Degidio for abruptly cutting Mitchell as he justified his side on his Adolf Hitler comments.
“They said it themselves, they were trying to get him on for a year. They knew that this controversy had just happened. You know what you’re getting when you get Bryce Mitchell on. You don’t get to bring him on there and then f**king dunk on him in front of the whole world when he’s already down and not give him an opportunity to defend himself,” Smith said.
“And then you catch some heat from it and pulled the episode down?… You bring fighters on, you sh*t on them. It happened to me. You brought me on, you’re super cool to me. I had a good time. I love Rampage, he’s my favorite fighter, I’ve said that for years. You’ve heard me say that a hundred times, Rampage is my favorite fighter. You bring me on I have an amazing time and several months later you’re on there with Dillashaw f**king making fun of me. That’s what they do, that’s their thing. Honestly, it’s less Rampage, he’s just kind of the funny ha ha guy, and he just laughs about stuff. They’re just not great to fighters, they make fun of a lot of people… I don’t like that, whether you agree or disagree or like Bryce Mitchell or hate Bryce Mitchell, don’t bering him on if you’re not gonna give him a platform to speak his truth. You can disagree with him but like the whole, ‘We’re not gonna give you a platform”… Shut the f**k up!,” he added.

Rampage wants to hurt Smith
It didn’t take long before Jackson responded to Smith’s criticisms. While addressing why they took down the Mitchell episode, Rampage lashed out at “Lionheart.” Jackson even threatened to hurt Smith once their paths cross.
“I saw this f**king post that Anthony Smith did, I saw it this morning, f**king pissed me off. When T.J. sat right motherf**king here and said you’ll never be champion and said that you f**king gave up, Bear and I f**king had your back and that’s why we were saying, ‘Lionheart,’ with a f**king nickname like Lionheart? Not ‘Lying Heart,’ and you took it as Bear and I were making fun of you,” Jackson ranted.
“Bear and I actually liked your bitch ass, but now you’re a motherf**king b***h because at first I didn’t say sh*t because I DM’d you,” he continued. “I looked at it, I could see how could think that I was making fun of him, too, so I DM’d you. I f**king said to you in the DM, ‘Look here, I wasn’t making fun of you.’ Because I could have made fun of you. Fighters, we make fun of each other. Yeah, I’m a comedian pretending to be a motherf**king fighter, but the problem is, motherf**ker I really can fight. I hope I come down when I see you, because motherf**kers like you get b***h-smacked for real. You did some b***h sh*t, you left me on read on your f**king DMs when I tried to f**king explain to you I wasn’t making fun of your b***h a**,” he continued.
“This sh*t got me p****d off. I’m tellin’ you, tell that Anthony Smith motherf**ker, call that motherf**ker up, tell him to keep my motherf**king name out of his motherf**king mouth. I see his b***h a**, I’m going to smack the f**k out of him,” he added before walking away.

Prior to this, Rampage already addressed the issue in an 18-minute video, explaining that they should’ve just let Mitchell say what he wanted to say about the subject.
