Rampage Jackson gives a thorough breakdown why he's leaving the UFC, but not MMA

It’s over. The days of notable quotes like ‘there’s going to be some black-on-black crime’ are finished. Rampage Jackson has effectively retired from the UFC in an attempt to make his fan base severely depressed for the next few months. Well, until he comes back, of course. To MMA — not UFC. We can all agree that Rampage has not only burned his bridge with the organization, but he set off a few improvised explosive devices in his wake.

We’ve seen Jackson take on every meaningful light heavyweight we can think of, except that elusive match with Bellator’s King Mo. It’s been years in the making and Bjorn Rebney has expressed his interest to get Rampage inside the circlegon. Whether that happens does not disregard the fact that Rampage seems rather upset by the UFC, with claims that the organization simply didn’t treat him right over the years. Heads up Dana, as long as you stuff $17,000,000+ in my bank account over a six-year time span, feel free to treat me wrong. In fact, I insist.

Check out what Rampage told TMZ when he was confronted with the question of what he plans to do with the rest of his career.
