Raja Jackson, the son of former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, has cut a plea deal in the criminal case tied to his attack on independent wrestler Stuart “Syko Stu” Smith.
Jackson entered a no contest plea to one felony count of battery with serious bodily injury, according to the New York Post, which first reported the plea deal. A no contest plea means Jackson is not admitting guilt, but he is not challenging the charge, and the court can sentence him on it.
The 2025 incident happened at a KnokX Pro Wrestling event in Los Angeles, where footage showed Jackson entering the ring and repeatedly hitting Smith. The case drew MMA attention because Jackson is the son of Rampage Jackson, a former UFC champion and Pride veteran.
The plea also included two special allegations, including personal infliction of great bodily injury and violent conduct. A representative for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office told the Post that Jackson’s anticipated punishment is “90 days actual county jail; restitution of $81,703.38; and two years formal probation.”
“The defendant is to pay restitution before he is sentenced,” the spokesperson said.

Raja Jackson’s Sentencing Is Expected In Late June
Jackson, 26, is scheduled to be sentenced at the end of June. The plea deal moves the case from the charging stage to punishment after Jackson previously faced felony battery and misdemeanor battery charges tied to the wrestling event.
Smith, who wrestled as Syko Stu, was initially reported in stable but critical condition after the incident and was later released from the hospital. He also announced his retirement from professional wrestling.
Rampage addressed the situation publicly last year and said he believed his son should face jail time and community service.
“I think that he should do a little time, do a little community service,” Rampage said.
