RDA Fires Back At Mcgregor For Making Fun Of His Foot Injury

Former UFC champion, Rafael Dos Anjos snapped two-fight losing skid after scoring an impressive fourth-round submission win over Kevin Lee in the main headliner of UFC On Fight Night 152 this past Saturday, May 18, 2019. Shortly after RDA’s victory, Conor Mcgregor throws shade at him by bringing the scuttled 2016 lightweight title fight.

The reason for the disdain is that a then-lightweight champ Dos Anjos was supposed to fight then-featherweight champion Conor McGregor at UFC 196, but Anjos forced to withdraw from the fight card due to a broken foot. Mcgregor instead went on to fight Nate Diaz and ended up losing a match.

Dos Anjos didn’t like how Mcgregor showed a low-class act by insulting his injury. Earlier this evening RDA fires back at Mcgregor and brown water cheap whiskey.

“That broken foot is my working tool. Making fun as a fellow fighter shows the person you r. Before sleep, you wonder what life would’ve been if that fight happened, and I made you eat that foot. Enjoy your fortune drinking that brownwatercheapwhiskey without making fun of my misfortune. Rafael dos Anjos wrote on Twitter.”

Mcgregor hasn’t competed inside the Octagon since suffering a fourth-round submission loss to Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 229 last October. Following a defeat, Mcgregor received six months of suspension from Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) for taking part in the post-fight brawl. Now he’s gearing up for his highly anticipated return as soon as this summer.

Since all top lightweight contenders like Tony Ferguson with Donald Cerrone, Dustin Poirier with Khabib, and Nate Diaz with Anthony Pettis are all booked. Would you be interested in Mcgregor vs Dos Anjos next if UFC gives a green signal to the match? We do have Justin Gaethje on the horizon if this doesn’t work out.
