We all know that CM Punk got decimated during his fight with Mickey Gall. That doesn’t mean he wasn’t a brave, brave man, but the fearless warrior got trucked. Now a new challenger appears! The next brave soul is Luis J. Gomez from the Legion of Skanks show. His goal? Last as long as CM Punk did so he can say he’d beat CM Punk in a fight.
They finally agree on some modified rules and clear out a small circle like the pit at a house show. The agreed upon bout is straight grappling but Gomez can land body shots and it starts with him in full mount. The time that CM Punk lasted was around two minutes and fifteen seconds. …Gomez lasted around fifteen of those seconds before Gall tapped him with a D’arce choke.
But not only was he brave, but even braver I’d argue than CM Punk. He did it on the concrete floor with mere minutes to prepare! I heard the UFC is looking for the next opponent for CM Punk, well look no further than Gomez.
