Quentin Pasley closed Dana White's Contender Series Week 5 with a nasty first-round finish, stopping Arlind Berisha with elbows in the light heavyweight main event. The win came after Martin Kozak's second-round stoppage earlier on the same DWCS card, giving the UFC one more violent finish before contracts were handed out.

Pasley Finishes Berisha At 4:41

UFC.com listed the official result as Pasley defeating Berisha by knockout at 4:41 of Round 1. The finish moved Pasley to 4-0, knocked Berisha from the unbeaten ranks, and ended with Pasley on top landing elbows until the referee stepped in.

UFC on Paramount+ posted the finish clip below.

Pasley entered the night as one of the unbeaten prospects on the DWCS Week 5 lineup at the Meta APEX. Berisha came in at 5-0, but Pasley turned the main event into his kind of fight once he was able to get on top late in the first round.

Pasley Leaves With A Contract

UFC.com's Week 5 results page confirmed that Pasley was one of four athletes awarded contracts from the episode. The other contract winners were Isaac Moreno, Martin Kozak, and Christian Natividad, while Apollo Gomes won his bout but did not receive a contract.

UFC Asia also posted a second angle of the finishing elbows.

The sequence capped a DWCS card that had already produced Christian Natividad's first-round body-shot finish over Colton Loud. Pasley's main-event win gave the light heavyweight prospect the cleanest possible close to his audition, with the official score sheet no longer needed after the elbows ended it in the opening round.
