Valentina Shevchenko entered the fight as a 12-1 favorite. Those odds might have been too generous.
Valentina Shevchenko made a successful debut in the UFC flyweight division on Saturday night when she bested promotional newcomer Priscila Cachoeira in the co-main event of UFC Fight Night 125, in Belem Brazil.
Prior to that, Shevchenko, who lost a close split decision to women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes back in September, then she dropped to 125 pounds and soundly beat down Cachoeira at UFC Fight Night 125.
