Pros React To Dana White’s Getting Rid Of Early Weigh-Ins

UFC president Dana White says the promotion is aiming to get rid of the early morning weigh-ins and plans to conduct fighter weigh-ins in the late afternoon instead otherwise known as the ceremonial weigh-in.

The idea was implemented two years ago at UFC 199 with the intentions to give fighters enough time to rehydrate and recover from a severe cut. Initially, the change seemed off to a promising start, but as of late it causes more harm than any good with fighters fails to reach the limit forcing more matchups to canceled.

Dana White’s recent comments generate a reaction from UFC fighter community, and many of them spoke against the policy. Check out the response below:
