Play in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix hosted by EA Sports MMA and MiddleEasy

Since it makes complete sense to have a digital representation of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix before the actual Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix, MiddleEasy.com and EA Sports MMA have teamed up to make this simulacra of MMA a tangible reality. On February 9th, EA Sports MMA will host a Live Broadcast of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix presented by MiddleEasy. Every participant in the Grand-Prix will be selected from players in our weekly edition of Sunday Night Fights. Eight players will be selected to represent each of the eight fighters competing in the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix. Fighters will be randomly given to each player, so if you are assigned Fedor, consider it winning some miniature lottery where no money is awarded.

To participate in our Sunday Night Fights, hop on Xbox Live tonight at 7:00pm PST/10:00pm EST and add the ‘MiddleEasy‘ gamertag and join in on the action. Sorry to all of you Playstation 3 owners, one day you will own a real next-generation videogame console — or maybe someday we will expand Sunday Night Fights to Playstation 3, whichever comes first.

Hopefully our reigning champion (and Sherdog slayer) ‘Tha Premiere’ will be involved in the Grand-Prix, but if he’s not, check out this highlight of pure EA Sports MMA KO insanity. If you don’t own the game, this video will undoubtedly convince you to go to your nearest GameSpot and grab a copy.
