Paddy Pimblett believes he can beat anybody in the world, one thousand percent.
‘Put Francis Ngannou In There With Me’
And for the most part, why wouldn’t he believe that? The brash ‘Baddy’ has won all three of his UFC appearances so far, finishing every opponent of his inside two rounds. Pimblett’s aura of confidence continues to grow with each win and it doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon.
Pimblett would give us a look at how strong his mindset really is, while training with the United States Marines at Camp Pendleton in California. Talking out loud, Liverpool’s UFC star claimed he could even drop UFC Heavyweight Champion on his head.
“If you don’t believe in yourself, you’re not gonna go nowhere,” Pimblett’s advice was to a Marine, in a new YouTube video. “I don’t think anybody can beat me. I don’t give a f*ck, put Francis Ngannou in there with me. I’ll pick them up and drop him on his head.”
‘I Believe I Can Beat Anyone’
Pimblett is never going to face Ngannou, but it’s the confidence that counts with saying that he’d drop ‘the baddest man in the world’ on his head. He truly believes anyone can win on any given day, no matter what the odds are.
‘The Baddy’ also advises that if you’re getting into the fight game, your intentions better be to the best in the world.
“You can’t think anyone is ever gonna beat you,” Pimblett said of his mindset. “I always say if you come into MMA or any fighting sport and you don’t want to be the best there is and the best there was and the best there ever will be— you’re in the wrong gig. Anyone can win, doesn’t matter. I could start fighting with a 14 year-old and then get caught with a right hook and get put fast asleep.
“I believe I can beat anyone. I don’t give a f*ck about how big you are, what you look like, or if you’ve got seven arms, I will beat ya.”
