Pic of Tyron Woodley’s choke attempt shows Stephen Thompson’s neck bent at a nasty undead angle

Lost in the “McGregor rules the world” fallout at UFC 205 was the fact that Tyron Woodley versus Stephen Thompson was a damn good scrap. For five rounds the All-American wrestler danced with the Karate black belt in a classic mixed martial arts title fight. Then in the fourth round Woodley versus Thompson went from a good fight to a great fight.

Midway through the fourth round something clicked in Woodley and you caught a glimpse why he’s holding the UFC belt. One haymaker rocked the chin of Thompson then Woodley swarmed his challenger and unleashed a 45-hit ULTRA COMBO of Marvel vs. Capcom proportions. The only thing crazier than Woodley’s striking sequence was Wonderboy walking away to tell the tell.

At the end of the Zombie Thompson versus 32-bit Woodley exchange, the champion locked in a power guillotine choke attempt. Woodley is strong as hell and somehow Thompson didn’t tap or get his neck snapped. Check out this picture of Woodley while you slowly rub your own neck meat to check that it’s all still there.
