How great is it to have a cool nickname? All my life I’ve wanted a cool nickname, especially since I’ve been training BJJ. All my professor yells at me is “porra” and then he calls me “Gabriel.” It’s not because it has a cool Portuguese meaning, it’s just that I remind him of his 6-month old son flailing around on the ground. Phil “Mr. Wonderful” Davis has undefeated record and a very cool nickname. The guy’s a former NCAA wrestling champion with a solid submission game (BJJ blue belt under Lloyd Irvin). Equally important – he somehow pulls off wearing hot pink vale tudo shorts.
