PETA Encourages Conor McGregor To Stop Wearing Animal Fur

Conor McGregor is known for his flex-style, and sporting fur coats to press conferences. Now, animal rights activists PETA are encouraging this to stop.

Conor McGregor has been known for rocking his designer clothes, and fancy cars. His “swag-style” has become an almost trademark. McGregor has walked into many press conferences, and events wearing giant fur coats, sometimes with nothing on underneath.

However, the animal rights group known as the People for Equal Treatment of Animals (PETA) has taken notice of this. On Wednesday, they reached out to McGregor, via Twitter, to plead for him to change these actions.

“The animals are counting on YOU, Conor! You have an opportunity to prevent more animals from suffering for fur coats. @PETAUK is urging Conor McGregor @TheNotoriousMMA to donate his furs back to the animals he stole them from”

Additionally, Elisa Allen, director of PETA took things a step further. In the link in the post, is an open letter to the former champ, Allen called out McGregor for his role in this horrible trade.

“Fur is dead, And since Ireland announced last week that it’s phasing out fur farming, that message has never been clearer. So what do you say? Will you help us knock out cruelty to animals by swearing off fur and donating your coats?”

Middle Easy is all about the proper treatment of animals. However, it seems hard to believe that this pressure from PETA is something that Conor McGregor is concerned about. After all, the double champ does what he wants.
