Jake Paul didn’t take long to respond to the UFC 272 main event loser.
Paul Responds
Last night at UFC 272, Jorge Masvidal lost a unanimous decision to his former training partner and roommate, Colby Covington. On top of getting berated by Covington in the post-fight interview, another enemy of Masvidal chimed in moments after the fight.
YouTuber turned professional boxer Paul hopped on Twitter to take a dig at Masvidal.
“First of all Masvidal you ain’t rich.” Paul first wrote.

Paul’s response was in reference to a tweet that Masvidal wrote in December when Paul said he’d fight him.
“1. The ufc isn’t gonna let me go for chump change. 2. Make that 20 guaranteed plus Ppv and I’m sure the ufc will be ok with it as long as I break them off their fee and then I’ll gladly break your face,” Masvidal wrote.
“If the ufc still says no because the money is still too low then come over to the ufc, sign a 1 fight deal and we can stipulate I can only box in the cage. If i do anything other than that I will forfeit my purse to you. Come on over and get paid and laid out.”

Adding On
On top of calling Masvidal not rich, Paul played UFC matchmaker.
“We already know Conor can’t finish Diaz Right fight to make is Masvidoll vs Macgregor. 50/50 fight, ends in KO. Both can throw and both have weak chins,” Paul wrote.

Paul might just have a good point with Masvidal fighting Conor McGregor. It has been a fight that has been brewing for a couple of years, and both men desperately need a win.
Will it happen? Who knows.
McGregor is still recovering from his broken leg that he suffered at UFC 264 last year, and Masvidal will need some time to regroup. In addition, UFC president Dana White never liked the fight from the start because he felt like Masvidal was too big.
Time will tell. But thanks for the matchmaking, Jake.
