Paul Daley says Nick Diaz is phenomenal, but his expiration date is coming up

This morning I walked into my kitchen while it was still dark and poured some Lucky Charms into a bowl and then opened the milk and began to pour it over my cereal. The sound that I heard was not that of splashing liquid over my rainbow colored sugary marshmallow goodies, but more of a plopping sound. I turned on the kitchen light only to find that my bowl o’ frosted Lucky Charms were covered in curdled sour milk and the expiration date on the milk read, ‘February 14th’. Damn, no magical deliciousness in my mouth this morning. I should really keep better track of the expiration date on stuff in my fridge so I won’t suffer culinary disappointments so early on Monday morning ever again.

Paul Daley probably doesn’t ever miss out on any magically delicious marshmallows in his mouth (BEEP?) because he probably knows when the milk in his fridge is going to expire. He claims to be aware of how phenomenal Nick Diaz is but also that Diaz has an expiration date just like milk, and apparently it is coming up soon. MMAWeekly.com Radio had Daley on recently and he said this about Nick Diaz:

“I think his boxing is phenomenal. He’s a great striker and he’s a guy that comes to fight. It was a great display of that in that fight. He was fighting with Cyborg standing up, Cyborg took him down, and he carried on fighting and submitted him. As a fighter, Nick Diaz is phenomenal.”

“Although he’s fought a lot of guys standing up, he’s not fought me. I don’t mean to be arrogant and I don’t mean to continue piping on about it, but I’m a whole different animal when it comes to the stand-up game and I’ve continued to get better.

“I don’t do it for publicity when I say his expiry date’s going to be up, that’s genuinely how I feel. I think the build-up could be interesting. I think if Diaz lets his mouth flow away with him, I think it could be quite entertaining.”

I have to agree with Daley here. Some Paul Daley and Nick Diaz fight hyping smack-talk will probably be just as fun and fiery as the fight between the two of them. Can’t wait. [Source]
