Jake Paul believes he can find common ground with UFC CEO Dana White in this life or the next.
Between beating ex-UFC fighters to dropping a diss track on him in 2022, Paul and White have never really seen eye-to-eye, with White returning fire every now and then, when asked for his honest opinion on the influencer-turned-boxer.
Paul Says He Doesn’t Hate The UFC
While there seems to be no love lost between the combat sport figureheads, Paul says he does respect what White has done with the UFC, taking the premier promotion to incredible heights in the last decade.
“That’s where I applaud the UFC and what they’ve done for MMA as a sport and their promotion,” Paul said on the Full Send Podcast. “Production, all of their s*** is amazing. Like, people think I hate the UFC, I don’t.”
Paul Gives Dana White His Props
Putting their many differences aside, Paul and White both support 45th President Donald Trump en route to the U.S. election later this year with Paul having a friendly face-off with the former president recently and White even introducing Trump at the Republican National Convention just a few weeks ago.
“I also have a lot of respect for like, his RNC speech, bro, was amazing,” Paul said of White. “Like we agree on so many things and I think he has a great side of him. I’m sure we’d be friends maybe in this life, maybe in a different life.”
“I Just Want Fighters To Get Paid More”
Of course, White and Paul disagree on a lot of things as well, with Paul nitpicking the UFC boss for years regarding fighter pay, to which he rapped about (among other things) in his 2022 diss track of White.
“I just want fighters to get paid more, that’s it,” Paul continued. $12,000 to fight. So, like even if they fought four times a year, that’s not enough support their family.”
Will we ever see Jake Paul and Dana White break bread?
