Patrick Habirora turned the biggest name on his résumé into a 21-second statement at PFL Brussels.

Habirora faced former UFC and WEC lightweight champion Benson Henderson in Saturday’s main event in Brussels, Belgium. Henderson tried to read the early entries, but Habirora found him with a sharp left hand, swarmed with follow-up punches, and forced referee Mike Beltran to step in almost immediately.

PFL listed the finish at 21 seconds and posted:

“THE BELGIAN BOMBER 💣 21 seconds was all it took for Patrick Habirora to improve to 9-0!”

Habirora Turns A Legend Into A Launchpad

This was supposed to be the biggest test of Habirora’s young career. Henderson brought a championship résumé, 42 pro MMA fights, and years of experience against elite opposition. Habirora erased all of that in one exchange.

The win moved Habirora to 9-0. It was his fourth straight first-round knockout and his fifth victory under the PFL banner. For a fighter still early in his pro run, stopping Henderson that fast is the kind of result that changes the temperature around your name immediately.

Habirora praised Henderson after the fight, then called for a matchup with BKFC star Mike Perry. That is not soft matchmaking. Perry has rebuilt his combat sports brand around bare-knuckle chaos, and Habirora clearly wants a bigger name while the spotlight is hot.

For Henderson, this was a brutal return. He had not competed in MMA since March 2023, and the comeback lasted less than half a minute. Henderson is now 30-13.

None of that erases what Henderson has done. He remains a former UFC lightweight champion, former WEC lightweight champion, and one of the most accomplished lightweights of his generation. But Saturday belonged to Habirora. One clean opening, one fast swarm, and one veteran legend face-down before the crowd could even settle in.
