It just isn’t Freire, putting any featherweights in the cage with Patricio Pitbull anymore. We can agree on that, right? Tonight, the elder Pitbull took his second Bellator tournament check home and he did it in style, clobbering Strikeforce vet Justin Wilcox with a sweet one-two that pretty much finished the fight right away. The major takeaway from this latest Pitbull beating is that Pitbull had a battle beard, which may have added to his mystical powers.

It’s already a proven fact that tattooed fighters lose more often than their un-inked counterparts, it’s come to be expected. It’s obvious the beard helps, it helps even more if you grow a mustache, but I don’t make up these mystical rules, I just live by them.
