Paige VanZant is back! Her next fight will be across the pond in London.
On Thursday, BKFC president Dave Feldman announced on the BKFC podcast that VanZant will make her third appearance for BKFC when the promotion heads to London. VanZant will fight on July 9 at the Alexandra Palace. No opponent has been named as of yet.
Feldman also announced that BKFC has planned a card in Rotterdam in the Netherlands on Aug. 6 as the promotion is trying to expand through Europe.
Looking to get a win
VanZant is 0-2 with the company so far and will be looking to pick up her first win. The former UFC fighter made her debut in the main event of BKFC’s inaugural Knucklemania against Britain Hart. Unfortunately, she lost a unanimous decision.
VanZant returned five months later against Rachael Ostovich in the main event of BKFC 19. Again, she would lose a unanimous decision. VanZant vs. Ostavich fought while they were in the UFC, VanZant won via second-round arm, and it was her last win in the UFC.
Earlier this week, VanZant said that she no longer has to fight because she is financially free. Instead, she is fighting because she loves to compete. VanZant also recently signed a contract with pro wrestling company AEW.
