Paddy Pimblett is engaging in a feud with a pro wrestler.
Often times in combat sports these days we see fighters beginning to make callouts and start feuds online. This is a great way to get a fight set with someone and get the fans involved in the drama. However, when the feud involves two fighters from different promotions or different sports altogether that is when things get complicated. This is the case with Paddy Pimblett.
Recently Pimblett has been involved in an altercation on Instagram. He has been going back and forth with pro wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman or MJF as he is called in the ring. The two have been calling for one another to fight but can not land on which avenue to pursue the bout.
Paddy Pimblett offers to fight Maxwell Jacob Friedman in the UFC
The idea of a WWE wrestler coming to the UFC to fight is not out of the question. It has been done on several occasions but the possibility of a UFC fighter going to the WWE or AEW is much more common. Pimblett has threatened to face MJF in either option and the AEW wrestler has responded.

“@the_mjf I do have knowledge about mma tho don’t I?” Paddy Pimblett wrote. “Which u have zero knowledge about so let’s not go there. If u wanna have a real fight let’s sort it with the @ufc if not pipe down! Oh tell ur boss to sign me up when yous come to Fulham’s ground I be ready son.”
Friedman responded by taking Pimblett up on his offer.
“@theufcbaddy hey bud, @aew has a show coming up in your neck of the woods,” he wrote. “If you’re man enough I’ll gladly show you how real I am. @tonyrkhan @danawhite.”
AEW announced that they will be heading to the UK in 2023 and although have not specified a venue, rumors are that it will be at Craven Cottage at Fulham grounds. If this is the case perhaps these two can meet. Pimblett also has his own fight set for UFC 282 on December 10 against Jared Gordon.
