Paddy Pimblett and Benoit Saint Denis are targeted to meet in a lightweight bout at UFC 329 on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, the final event of International Fight Week.
Eurosport first reported the matchup, with MMA Fighting later reporting that multiple sources confirmed the booking is in play. No main event has been officially announced.
Pimblett enters at 23-4. The former Cage Warriors featherweight champion opened his UFC career with seven straight wins, including victories over Michael Chandler, King Green, and Tony Ferguson, before Justin Gaethje beat him by unanimous decision at UFC 324 for the interim lightweight title.
Saint Denis is 17-3 with one no contest. The French lightweight and former French Army Special Forces soldier has six knockout wins and 11 submission wins. His 2024 losses came against Dustin Poirier at UFC 299 and Renato Moicano in Paris.

UFC 329 Gives Both Lightweights A Reset Fight
Since then, Saint Denis has finished Beneil Dariush, Mauricio Ruffy, Kyle Prepolec, and Dan Hooker. Pimblett needs a response after his first UFC defeat, and this matchup gives him a ranked opponent with pressure, grappling, and a finish-heavy style.
The stakes are direct. A win keeps Saint Denis climbing at 155, while Pimblett can show his January loss was only a setback.
