ONE FC has announced it will instate full Pride rules on soccer kicks! Pride never die!

If you still haven’t checked out ONEFC after all of the coverage, videos, and articles we have been blasting you with- then you are missing out on the definition of truly entertaining MMA. I’m not exaggerating at all when I say you are leading a worthless existence. You might as well sit down in a pool of stagnant rain water and wait for thousands of west nile virus infested mosquitos to hatch and begin feasting upon your blood. After this past weekend’s event brought back old Pride style soccer kicks that made those of us watching the event scream in gleeful delight, we simply can not wait until the next event Asian MMA’s mastermind-Victor Cui has put together for fans on October 6th.

That event-‘Rise of the Kings’ will be headlined by the one and only Shinya Aoki. Aoki will be facing frenchman Arnaud Lepont in his return to the cage. The possibility of Aoki’s magic pants making a return alongside soccer kicks is already on the verge of MMA orgasmic levels for us, but now ONE FC has gone and sent us over the edge by announcing via Twitter last night that it would in fact be instating FULL PRIDE RULES when it comes to soccer kicks from this point forward. Oh em Gee.

This decision and announcement was no doubt brought on by the two fight ending soccer kicks at this past weekend’s event. Prior to the announcement ONE FC rules were such that a fighter would have to wait for the referee signal to begin the soccer kicking attack. This somewhat confusing rule caused the strange ending in the Arlovski vs Sylvia fight. Arlovski came in with a vengeant soccer kick to Sylvia’s dome but he did so before receiving the signal from the ref, and Sylvia was unable to go on with the fight so the fight was ruled a no contest. Now with the new ONE FC announcement-full Pride Rules will prevent any confusing wait periods to begin soccer kicking the consciousness out of an opponent. We’ve been saying it and wishing it all along but ONE Fc is making sure that Pride really will never die.

Make sure you catch the upcoming event-ONE FC: Rise of the Kings broadcast live via stream on PPV on October 6th at ONEfc.com. [Source]
