Prior to reading this article, I saw a guy in Thai Town in Hollywood, CA sweat profusely as he frantically ate a bowl of noodles. His cell phone was placed in a condom that he used for a screen protector. When he grabbed his phone, he used it to wipe the sweat from the back of his neck. Apparently a condom wrapped around a phone is a multi-purpose device. At that moment, I realized we’re all connected in this vast universe. Genki Sudo was right; we’re all one. Technically, that would make the guys from ONE FC a quantum singularity. Quantum mechanical fighting championship (QMFC), coming to a theoretical black hole near you.
This morning at the ONE FC press conference, the organization announced that Babalu vs. Manhoef and Imanari vs. the undefeated phenom from Manilla, Kevin Belingon will go down at the promotion’s third event, scheduled for March 31st 2012 in Singapore. ONE FC also announced a ten-year long partnership with ESPN Star Sports, which in the broadcast industry is virtually unheard of. That’s a guaranteed decade of head stomps brought directly to every Asian television with basic cable. If that wasn’t enough, Victor Cui also announced that ONE FC is now supported by the Singapore government, which is pretty ironic since most of you live in a country in which the government won’t allow MMA in the greatest city on the planet. If New York was like Singapore, we would have already seen a sold-out Madison Square Garden with a massive octagon in the middle. Granted, if New York was like Singapore, every member of Occupy Wall Street would be dragged in the middle of the road and caned. Occupy Singapore is a misplaced gum wrapper.
