ONE Championship 161 saw some amazing finishes and big wins.

The ONE Championship 161 event that went down on Thursday was headlined by Tawanchai PK Saenchai vs. Petchmorakot Petchyindee in a Muay Thai bout. Also on the card was the return of Oumar Kane aka Reug Reug who has not competed since last year. The action-packed card took place in Singapore at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

The main event showed Tawanchai coming out on top with a unanimous decision victory following the five-round war. At only 23 years old Tawanchai is proving himself to be a force and now with the ONE Championship Featherweight Muay Thai World Title belt around his waist and three wins in a row, he seems unstoppable.

The c0-main event was a thrilling heavyweight kickboxing bout between Roman Kryklya and Guto Inocente. The winner of the fight would advance to the ONE Heavyweight Kickboxing World Grand Prix Final. Kryklya took out Inocente in the very first round to secure a date in the final against familiar foe Iraj Azizpour who also won his ONE Championship 161 bout. Kryklya also won himself a $50,000 performance bonus for the win.

A featured preliminary bout between fan favorite Reug Reug and Batradz Gazzaev may have won “Fight of the Night” in the fan’s eyes. Reug Reug was coming off his first career loss back in April and seemed to have been putting in the work ever since. He shut down Gazzaev in the second round to move his record to 4-1.
