Sean O’Malley vs. Pedro Munhoz Ruled No Contest After Accidental Eyepoke – UFC 276 Results (Highlights)

A new episode of ‘The Sugar Show’ has dropped. 

UFC sensation Sean O’Malley takes on the toughest test of his career against Pedro Munhoz. The bantamweight fight opens up the UFC 276 main card. 

Round 1:

Munhoz and O’Malley trade leg kicks. Munhoz continues to attack the leg from a distance. O’Malley uses a multitude of feints. O’Malley checks leg kicks from Munhoz. O’Malley lands a good right before a dealing a low blow to Munhoz with a kick. Fight stops, then continues. O’Malley utilizes the jab as Munhoz continues the leg kick onslaught. 

Munhoz attempts a spinning back kick which misses and O’Malley lands one of his own.

Round 2:

The battle proceeds to be a kicking battle, with continued firepower from Munhoz. O’Malley presses forward, landing some punches on the Brazilian. Munhoz returns with a calf kick. O’Malley jabs the face of Munhoz before the fight is stopped once again due to a eye-poke from O’Malley. Munhoz takes his time to recover, even being checked out by the cageside doctor.

The doctor rules the fight as off, bringing an anti-climatic end to the contest. Munhoz cited he couldn’t see out of that said eye.
