We may have struck down SOPA and PIPA with the weight of our collective fist, but the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act is moving strong through the US government right now, and realistically, if such a law were to be passed, the hilarious antics of the internet at large would more than likely be considered an illegal act of cyber-terrorism.
If CISPA gets passed, The Underground would be the new Afghanistan, and Myee88, Calavaro and a bunch of the dudes over at the UG would have their avatars placed on a deck of cards and the cyber police will crash through their skylights as soon as a warrant for their head is signed. Yeah you read that right, skylights, the guys on the UG don’t dwell in their basements.
But for now, the internet is still ours, so the talented gentleman over at the Underground used their formidable photoshop skills to create comical ‘romoshops’ from Frank Mir’s stumbling at the end of round one on Saturday night. Let it be known that we still love you Frank Mir, and this moment captured in time that has been morphed over and over again should not be viewed as disrespect, but hilarious love.
