I’ve come to terms with the fact that I probably won’t ever have the luxury of retirement and that I’ll work in some form or another up until the moment I die. I can see it now: the neighbors will report a smell coming from my hover apartment, or my dog (yes he’s alive, it’s the singularity) would’ve gone to get help, then the fire department robots will bypass my security and find me slumped over my desk, head resting on my keyboard with an open document on the monitor reading ‘ssssssssssssssssss’ for hundreds of pages. In this way, I kept on working post-mortem, which could end up being very beneficial for my estate, if I have an estate when I croak. ‘Dead and and too fringe to even be called obscure author yields ironic post mortem hit with one letter novel’ the headlines would read. It’s kind of a bizarro John Kennedy Toole story if you will.
Nick Diaz is in his third or so month of retirement and it seems like he’s enjoying himself. Check out what he’s up to in this behind the scenes footage from Ronda Rousey Invades The 209 (coming May 2012 to a MiddleEasy near you).
