Nick Diaz’s Accuser Says UFC Star Was In Cocaine-Fueled Rage During Assault

Notorious MMA bad boy Nick Diaz is in some serious hot water after news of his arrest emerged on Friday morning. The charges revolved around domestic assault and strangulation, allegedly of an ex-girlfriend, that left the victim with serious injuries.

The ex-girlfriend says the elder Diaz brother was at her Las Vegas home on Thursday night when an argument between the two quickly became physical. She told cops that the MMA superstar has been abusing cocaine, which exacerbated the altercation.

Diaz is still being held at the Clark County Correctional Facility and is being held on $18,000 bail for the charges.

The victim allegedly sustained a broken hip and was choked unconscious during the assault, according to TMZ.

Diaz hasn’t fought since no contest at UFC 181 against Anderson Silva, but talks of a recent comeback have emerged lately as Diaz’s USADA suspension comes to an end.

UFC planning to conduct their own probe on the dire matter and released an official statement earlier today:

“The organization does not tolerate domestic violence and requires all athletes to adhere to the UFC Fighter Conduct Policy. Every athlete is deserving of due process and this situation, as with any official allegations, will be duly reviewed and thoroughly investigated by an independent party.”
