Nick Diaz Mugshot Revealed & Court Date Set For Domestic Violence Charge

UFC welterweight Nick Diaz was arrested last Friday (May 25, 2018) by Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department for alleged domestic battery and faces charges of domestic abuse by strangulation.

Diaz made an $18,000 bond and released from the custody of Clark County Detention Center on Friday night.

MMA Fighting confirmed that Diaz is due back in court at 8:30 a.m. on June 6 before judge Amy Chelini.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department spokesperson Larry Hadfield, the arrest stemmed from an incident that occurred at 7 pm. on Thursday night and had probable cause to arrest former Strikeforce welterweight champion, Diaz. On Tuesday LVMPD released his mugshot, check it out below.

Diaz hasn’t fought since losing a unanimous decision to Anderson Silva at UFC 183 back in January 2015. But the results changed to a no contest when Silva tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs, and Diaz tested positive for marijuana. Diaz suspended for one year by the (USADA) for missing whereabouts, but he was reinstated as an eligible fighter last month.
