Nick Diaz Plans To Return To Octagon In 2019

Former UFC welterweight veteran, Nick Diaz, was arrested for alleged domestic violence this past May in Las Vegas, finally breaks silence on the matter claiming he was framed leading up to his arrest via TMZ SPorts.

Nick Diaz, became eligible to return to Octagon this past April after he accepted a one-year suspension from the USADA for missing three attempted drug tests during a 12-month span. Now Stockton native insists he’s is going to fight “next year.”

Diaz hasn’t competed since losing to Anderson Silva at UFC 183 back on Jan. 31, 2015, a result that was later overturned to a no-contest because Silva tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs and Diaz tested positive for marijuana.

Diaz faces up to five years in jail on the domestic violence by strangulation charge, and next court date in the case is July 10.
