Nick Diaz goes off on Mayhem Miller on the Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg conference call

What can be said about Nick Diaz that hasn’t already been said about the kid who used to steal your lunch money in third grade? If you’re a guy that likes to mean mug the peeling off an orange and is an obvious master of nunchuks then Nick Diaz is the perfect role-model for you. However, if you’re looking for someone who doesn’t drop the F-bomb four times in a course of nine seconds, Nick Diaz may not be the guy you want to emulate your life after.

Just minutes ago on today’s Strikeforce: Diaz vs. Cyborg conference, after being relatively quiet for most of the call, Diaz went on a verbal tirade about Mayhem Miller, Georges St. Pierre and his Honda Civic. As Diaz was talking, I managed to write the quote in its entirety (with only a few words missing due to Nick’s phone connection).

“If I’m going to go off track and screw with my whole season, and my whole year, and my capabilities of fighting at 170 lbs, I would like to get paid in full and have a reason for doing that. Not just doing that for everyone’s convenience. I would like to get paid something, extra, double, triple — something crazy to do that, to fight at that weight. I would rather move down before I move up, if you want me to move in a weight class, let me move down if you’re not going to pay me more money for it. People want to see something great, offer me a big money fight at 185. Tell his [expletive] [expletive] to get in shape, he doesn’t want to work hard like me. He can work his [expletive] hard off to make 175 or someone can pay me a couple [expletive] million dollars. I want to fight. I know someone has that tape too [Of Nick Diaz throwing a bottle at Mayhem Miller]. Pacquiao is making 40 [expletive] million dollars, GSP is making a couple million dollars. I’m over here driving a Honda Civic because my [expletive] is breaking down. [Expletive] all you [expletives]. “

After Diaz’s statement, he also went on to say something about how he trained a guy that used to get drunk in bars to fight Josh Koscheck, and the only reason people have Georges St. Pierre ranked higher than him is because he’s an ‘Abercrombie and Fitch [expletive]’.
