Jake Shields snatched the Middleweight belt at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Rogers in November, Gilbert Melendez mean mugged a win over Josh Thomson to grab the Lightweight belt at Strikeforce: Evolution back in December of 2009 and tonight, Nick Diaz threw 96,670 punches in the first round to abruptly knock out the Dream Welterweight GP winner in extraordinary fashion. After the fight, Nick Diaz said his brother won his last fight and we should all watch out for something ‘fishy’ going down in UFC.
