According to Lodinews.com, Nick Diaz was arrested six days ago on suspicion of DUI, obstructing a police officer, destruction of evidence, and driving with a suspended license. That information allegedly came straight from Lodi Police Department Sergeant Mike Kermgard.
If the report is true, Diaz was driving on the 600 block of East Pine Street when he was stopped by Cpl. Eric Bradley. His arraignment should take place within twenty one days of his arrest.
Before you panic, remember that he’s got over three months to sort things out before his proposed fight against Anderson Silva at the end of January. If he hasn’t been convicted before then, the UFC can always go the route of Thiago Silva and note that the charges haven’t been proved.
