Francis Ngannou Expresses Frustrations With UFC

Francis Ngannou is having some trouble finding his way into another UFC fighter. As a result, he is starting to get a bit frustrated.

Ngannou is coming off a massive win over Junior Dos Santos, back in June. This was his third straight win, with just as many knockouts. Therefore, he is primed for a massive fight, perhaps for the title.

The only problem with that, is that there is a bit of a holdup in the title picture. Heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic is injured, and perhaps waiting for a rubber match with Daniel Cormier. Subsequently, Ngannou has been vying for another fight, in the meantime.

One such fight Ngannou was looking for, was against Alexander Volkov. Volkov’s opponent at UFC Moscow was forced to withdraw. Therefore, Ngannou spoke up on Twitter, and requested to step in on short notice.

However, in the end, the UFC decided to go another route. They gave Greg Hardy, who is fresh off a fight at UFC Boston, the opportunity, instead of Ngannou. Hardy is coming off of a No Contest against Ben Sosoli, where he illegally used an inhaler. Therefore, he is able to attempt to right this wrong, with his biggest opponent to date.

This is something that seemed to bother Fancis Ngannou. Following the news being broke, he posted another Twitter message. This time, he had a tinge of frustration in the words.

Ngannou is rightfully frustrated. While it seems that he would want to get a shot at the title, he appears that he wants to stay busy. Not to mention, there is the controversy surrounding Hardy being in the UFC.

Who would you like to see Francis Ngannou face in his next fight? Do you think he should wait for a title fight?
