Never point to your chin and taunt your opponent or this may happen to you

There are like three people in MMA that can effectively drop their hands in order to tap their chin to taunt their opponent — and one of them is retired in Stockton, California. Folks, if your name doesn’t end in Silva or Diaz — keep your hands up at all times. Anything else and you may get your snot box rocked with a strong overhand right. It’s pretty simple, folks. Defend yourself intelligently at all times. Getting in your opponent’s face and pointing to your chin is not intelligent. In fact it’s quite the opposite.

Unfortunately no one at the Ultimate River Throwdown in Redding, California told Dan Lewis this. If someone did, perhaps he wouldn’t be forever immortalized as a walking instructional manual for things fighter’s shouldn’t do. Better luck next time, Dan. Just remember — your chin isn’t made of unobtainium. You’re human.
