Fabio Maldonado was so caught up in his preparation for Rampage Jackson, he forgot to cut his toenails. Or, Fabio Maldonado gave up on everything after he found out Rampage wasn’t going to fight him, and let himself go. He just didn’t care about his personal hygiene anymore. He’s a focused, dirty man. He just wants to get punched and punch. That’s it.
So the officials stopped Maldonado before he got into the octagon last night, told him to sit back and relax while he got an impromptu pedicure.
