” ‘The Shadow Realm’ idea was born within the mma subreddit on www.reddit.com. A way to describe a place between death and consciousness where badly KO’d fighters would travel to when lying on the mat. I took it upon myself to imagine what ‘The Shadow Realm” experience was like in Comic Book form, and the dire consequences that too many trips might bring with it.”
