Nate Diaz Ask Dana White To Keep ‘kabobs’ Teammate For UFC 229 Brawl Instead Fire Him

Nate Diaz Have A Solution To Current Issue Surrounding Khabib Nurmagomedov And His Teammates

Yesterday MMA world got surprised when UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov threatens to leave UFC if promotion fired his teammate and friend Zubaira Tukhugov, who was part of UFC 229 post-fight melee.

That’s because Mcgregor’s friend Artem Lobov was booked to face Khabib’s teammate Tukhugov later this month in the co-main of UFC Moncton now the fight is nixed. As Tukhugov is one of Khabib’s teammate, who jumped into the Octagon to scuffle with Irishman after Nurmagomedov submitted Mcgregor at UFC 229. Khabib’s teammate was arrested briefly but released when Mcgregor refuses to press charges. UFC head honcho Dana White said all the goons who took part in melee would never be part of UFC again.

As Lobov who took part in Conor McGregor’s attack on a bus full of UFC fighters back in April in Brooklyn never been released by UFC. However, Lobov’s bout against Alex Caceres at UFC 223 was scrapped. But Zubaira, not only his fight was canceled UFC’s immediate plan is to release him after the post-fight melee.

Nate Diaz who’s watching all the scenes and even have a solution to the mess. He posted on social media saying keep ‘Kabob’s’ teammate instead fire him.

@danawhite please let kabobs dumbass friend stay in @ufc
Fire me it will be bettter this way.
I think it’s more fair that way …

Interesting take from Nate Diaz.

Diaz who last fought back in 2016 when Mcgregor defeated him via close decision at UFC 202. He was initially slated to face Dustin Poirier at UFC 230 on November 3. Unfortunately, that the bout got scrapped, when ‘The Diamond’ pulled out with an undisclosed injury earlier this week.

After the cancelation of NY bout, Diaz has his eyes set on Khabib Nurmagomedov’s title, though it’s hard to get, assuming if UFC doesn’t want him to leave they have to think about this. Californian native is always at odds with UFC over the money matter.

Diaz knows how to stay relevant in the news despite not have any win since 2016.
