Nate Diaz Takes A Jab At Conor McGregor Over Infamous Bus Attack

Former two-division champion Conor McGregor unexpectedly appear at the UFC 223 media day, where he landed dollies through the window of a bus carrying his fellow fighters. This attempt was in retaliation of Khabib Nurmagomedov had a hotel altercation with his teammate Artem Lobov.

As a result of his rampage, Mcgregor has been charged with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief.

Here lightweight superstar Nate Diaz was talking about his most infamous brawl in MMA that had ever seen.

Jake Shields defeated Dan Henderson to retain his middleweight title in the main event of Strikeforce: Nashville back on April 17, 2010, and he almost started his postfight interview when that scoundrel Jason “Mayhem” Miller crashed the party. Jason got into the cage and requested a rematch into the mic. He was subsequently shoved which triggered a huge melee involving members of Shields’ camp including, but not limited to Gilbert Melendez, Nick Diaz, and Nate Diaz.

McGregor’s infamous attack on fighters’ bus happened two weeks before the eight-year anniversary of the brawl. However, Nate couldn’t resist using the occasion to score a few points on his arch-rival via social media post:

“This what they were trying to act like they were doing in NYC,” Diaz said in his post. “But no one’s for real in this sport. We’re the last of our kind. It’s a new day and age, ride or die, we started this G shit”

Nate Diaz hasn’t fought since losing to Conor Mcgregor at UFC 202 back in 2016, but he did win the first meeting between the two back at UFC 196 in March 2016, which is why so many keen on to seeing a trilogy between these two superstars.
