Nate Diaz Reacts To Tony Ferguson’s Withdrawl

Many pros offer their sympathy on the cancellation of Tony Ferguson Vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov’s scheduled bout, but former UFC lightweight title challenger Nate Diaz who reacted out on this news.

The “Stockton Slugger” took to social media where he through jabs at both Ferguson and Nurmagomedov for another failed contest:

UFC 223 is set to take place on April 7, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. The main event bout suffered a change when Tony Ferguson was forced to withdraw due to torn ACL.

This is the fourth time in UFC that a scheduled Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov contest has failed to come to materialization.

UFC president Dana White confirmed the news via social media that Featherweight champion Max Holloway agreed to step in on short-notice and fight Khabib Nurmagomedov, contesting for the undisputed lightweight belt:

“BOOM!!!!!! We got Khabib vs The Champ Max Holloway for the 155lb title this Saturday in Brooklyn New York!!!!!!!,” stated in the caption.
